My new Light Cube

Today I set up my new photo light cube and tried to take a few nice photos with it.
When I got it, it came with a solid blue or gray background.
I looked everywhere for a graduated background and the best I could do, was to order one that was too large, and cut it down.
I was surprised though that for that amount of money ($40) it is made out of a type of paper.
Above are a couple of shots I took.
Not great pottery but I think the photos are pretty good:>)

$200 to clean out the viruses

Well, I finally got my computer back, $200 to clean out the viruses and re-do everything. Thank goodness he was able to save all my files.
The center with the kiln that does my firing is open now, so I carted about 30 pieces of greenware over there last night. Only broke one:>(
Can't wait to see them fired and to glaze and get some new pieces to put on my webpage. Will post some photos tomorrow if I can.

VIRUS

Dam!! Instead of throwing pots today, I spent the whole day trying to get rid of a virus I picked up on one of these blogs last night. I did the "view next blog" thing at the top of the page, and all hell broke lose. I have never had a virus in the 15 or 20 years I have been using a computer and now this. I hope I have gotten rid of it, but I really don't think so, as every time I go to a new page, an advertisement pops up. Never did that before:>(

The first of many, I hope, muddy blogs.

I am starting this blog to be able to have a closer contact with the people, friends and family that use my handmade and wheel thrown pottery. I will share my joys and frustrations, my accomplishments and my new pieces, not only when they are ready for sale, but as I am making them.
