Welcome to my Home Studio
Hard at work
I would like this blog to help me become closer to the people that buy and enjoy my pottery.
When you come to my website, you only get to see the finished pottery.
This blog is to bring you into the joys and frustrations of the creation and the failures.
I hope to document some of the process that go into the making of the pottery, and I hope you will add your comments and especially tell me how you are using your pottery.

Lots of green-ware waiting to be fired.

Here are some of the pots I made while the kiln was closed. This is only a few. On top are some with glaze and the next two shelves have green-ware. All in all I took over 30 pots to the kiln. The large casserole on the bottom shelf cracked on the bottom. Took the handle off the top and made it into a bowl. Very disappointing. Really liked that casserole. Oh well, as my professor, Mr D says, just make another:>)

Will find out tomorrow if they were all fired. Can't wait. If the glaze turns out the way I am hoping, I will glaze this batch to go with the Temmoku and Albany slip tea pot below.
